Civil Settlement for Sheriff Deputies, United States EEOC

     Represented three female police officers who were victims of sexual harassment male guards.  Advocated for the officers in mediation with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Negotiated a substantial settlement on behalf of the police officers. (2001)

Civil Settlement for Victim, Raped by Athlete, United States District Court

      Obtained a large settlement for my client who had been gang raped by a professional athlete and his entourage. (1998)

Case Dismissed Child Sexual Abuse Charge, Oregon Circuit Court

      After a jury trial resulting in a hung jury, charges were dismissed against client accused of child molestation. (1997)

Not Guilty Verdict Accused Teacher's Aid, Oregon District Court

      Students accused a teacher's aid of supplying them with alcohol and engaging in sexual behavior toward them.  Through cross examination and expert testimony a verdict of not guilty and dismissal of all charges was granted.  (1996)

Not Guilty Verdict Assault on a Police Officer, Oregon District Court

     Client was accused of attacking police officers with a metal pipe.  Client was found not guilty based upon self defense. (1994)

      Client was accused of murdering her husband and was apprehended on America's Most Wanted.  By presenting evidence of spousal abuse syndrome, a sentence of probation with no jail was negotiated.
